There will be an auction to raise money for the soon-to-be nonprofit,
Cambodian School Kidsа
THIS WILL BE DIFFERENT.
There will be a silent auction AND a live auction with an extremely fun,
talented auctioneer, Gary Thomas. аCome prepared to bid and have fun. аAlso,
there will be interesting items -- mostly from Burma -- that will be auctioned
off: аantique а аlacquer oil pots from Buddhist monasteries, wooden
marionettes, scarves, framed pictures, jewelry, sequined headdresses, lacquer
bowls and boxes, etc.
WHEN: Saturday, July 26, 6-9 p.m.
WHERE: St. Mary's Episcopal Churchа
HOW TO HAVE FUN AT A LIVE AUCTION:
The more action, the more excitement. аDecide ahead of time how much money you
are willing to spend (minimum and maximum) and have fun with it. а
There are about 20 girls in Cambodia and 3 in Burma being supported by Marty &
Sherry Bushue (both from Anchorage). аThis is a chance to make a huge
difference to these youngsters, providing basic health care, a safe shelter to
sleep, food and education.
